I was a little concerned this backpack wouldn't be what I needed when I ordered it, but after receiving the bag and using it the next week on a trip to the other side of the world, it performed wonderfully.
The security of the bag is top notch, I was never concerned that someone could unzip the bag, even when traveling on the subway or crowded city streets at night. The bag is very durable and comfortable, even during long treks. I was surprised how much I used the ability to slide the bag around your waist and zip it open to grab your camera on-the-fly. It worked very well! It was great to be able to quickly change lenses and not have to find a place to set stuff down. Everyone around me thought the bag was very cool for that reason. The bag is built very well and well worth the money in my opinion. I used the bag in all conditions (rain, shine, dust, etc...) and for my carry-on bag during air travel as well. I was very happy with it's performance in all situations (while I would not consider this backpack "waterproof", it would take an extended downpour to make me worry about my camera.).
I was able to fit a Nikon D40 w/18-55mm lens, 55-200mm lens, memory cards and reader, spare battery and charger, iPod w/earbuds and even some snacks and essentials for travel. It was tight, but it worked out great.
The LowePro flipside 200 is a secure, well designed bag that will protect and organize your gear and enable you to have fast access to what you need all without ever having to let the bag touch the ground.

Lowepro has taken an industry by storm with their bags. This bag is the 3rd Lowepro bag I've owned over the last 4 years (All upgrades).

I'll just get my details out of the way. In this bag I carry a Canon XTi body with the Battery grip, an attached Canon 28-135mm IS USM, the "nifty 50" 50mm f/1.8 II Speedlight 580EX II Flash and there is room in there for 1 more lens (I've got a Tamron 75-300mm in the mail) and an small omnibounce, cleaning solution and a CF card reader.. I ordered this to have something small and easy to carry on my trips out of state that I could carry on to the plane with me and still have a good compliment of equipment without lugging everything along..

Pros:
Very well built bag, like I had mentioned earlier, this is my 3rd Lowepro bag.. I've never been let down by the quality and this bag does not disappoint.

Security is top of the line as well on this bag with the opening back panel.

The bag holds a variety of equipment while maintaining the "this ain't a camera bag" look..

Cons:
There were a few things that I didn't like about this bag... they are listed below.
The sliplock system mounting straps are very poorly located on the shoulder straps. If one were to use these sliplocks, with lens cases like the 1N and 1W, they would find that the cases sit right on the tops of your shoulders if ya carry the bag cinched down, or over the shoulder if ya wear the bag lower on your back with the shoulder straps extended. These would have been put to better use on the side of the bag where they won't impede view or full range of motion for your head.

The side pocket is very small and very tight.. I fit in a lens pen, a 4 pack of batteries and 2 cf cards and I have a difficult time zipping the pocket closed. Forget about sticking anything else in there.

I wish the main compartment zipper was able to be zipped lower than it is.. As the bag sits right now, the zipper leaves a 2-3 inch well at the bottom of the bag that could be used for a little more room.

Being that I am carrying a XTi with the attached battery grip, the ergonomics with the camera makes it an uncomfortable carry for long periods. I'm not a fan of feeling the onboard flash on the camera pushing into my back.

Pockets could have been a little bigger or the bag could have been designed with a filter wallet sleeve built into the bag. I currently have to carry all my filters on my lenses because the bag will not accomodate the Lowepro filter wallet that I already own.

I hope my review has been helpful in choosing your next camera bag.

I just spent 10 days in England and Scotland wearing this to hold my Nikon SLR and 8mm DVR.

I found it perfect. The zipper sits against your back and is covered by a flap all the way around...no fears in a crowd or subway. I can't tell you the number of times I felt someone jostling me in a crowd, with no fear that my camera was being stolen.

I endured pouring rain while hiking the Borders, my cameras stayed dry. I could whip it open in seconds and the zipper never got caught once. I'm not sure why people get so passionate about criticizing this bag...it's simply a great little backpack. I took off the waist belt however..thought it looked a little too goofy.

Just take care: Nokia is AFAIK the only manufacturer who sells Pentaband 3G phones, that means that they support five frequency bands (850/1700/1900/2100 MHz) in one single device. This includes the Nokia C7 but excludes the version sold by T-Mobile USA as "Astound". So if you want a C7 with Pentaband support, do not buy the Astound/T-Mobile USA version.

Pentaband is great for travelling. I wouldn't want to go without.

I have had two BlackBerrys prior to this phone, and while I liked them, this phone is way better. It is an awesome middle range phone, that gives you top quality features better then most high end phones of other companies. Mine stopped working within 6 months of normal use.

Issues I had:

Every once in a while the phone will lose signal and I have to re-start it to get it going again. No warning chime no nothing, just a bunch of missed calls and voicemails from my friends and family.

Internet and software is slowwww...

For some reason it did not play all my mp3s. It would skip songs until it found one that works. These songs work on my Nokia X3 and now on my HTC, same memory card, same songs, different phones.

What I liked about it:

Call quality was awesome. Both speakerphone and normal calls was great sounding.

Works pretty well - I use it when running or when doing things around the house that require lots of movement. The armband is long enough and even for those who have skinny arms like myself, it works very well. The screen protector is also quite clear and so far has shown no signs of peeling off. I have a Belkin case on the ipod for when I am not using the armband but although the fit is tight, the ipod+belkin case still manages to fit inside the tuneband skin.

A great band for the price! I thought I would get super annoyed with the band around my arm, but its really not an issue. I was on the hunt for a comfortable, well-made, yet affordable, armband for my 2G iPod Touch. I really wanted to make sure I found one that would fit my arm (the circumference of my upper arm is around 9.25-9.5 inches). Luckily, this fit JUST right. (If your arm is any smaller than 9 inches, the end of the strap won't have Velcro to grab onto) Even if it hadn't fit, I knew that Grantwood's excellent customer service would follow through on its promise to send a new strap.

I don't usually gravitate towards silicone skins because they attract dust like no other, but they're thin and easy to apply/remove, and I have no issues with this one. It fits well, and offers easy access to all ports and buttons.

Ok, so first of all, a lot of these reviews seem pointless and it took me a long time to decide to get one for my Asus 1005HA-PU-1X-BK (the 10.5 hour battery life model). The type of review I was looking for and haven't seen except for maybe 2 or 3 is a review on the difference between 1GB and 2GB for your netbook (I mean, obviously recommended ram will work and install, the point in deciding to purchase this is to see if there will be a difference from what you have now). Normally, my netbook was working fine, and I installed Windows 7. I would notice things slowed down when I tried to multitask, watch a video, or load a facebook app. Once I installed the new memory, there seemed to be less lag when multiple programs were running. Last night I was online with Chrome, 2 Word documents open, powerpoint, 2 file folders, and iTunes listening to streaming radio at a coffee shop, on the windows power saver setting and the super hybrid engine battery mode setting. I noticed things ran smooth, even watching a couple of videos on youtube. Everything seemed smoother than before. Is the change dramatic? No. Is the change there though? Yes. My Office is 2003 Enterprise, so you might notice things smoother if you're trying to run Office 2007 (it takes up so much ram like Open Office so it might be noticeable there). Installation involves a screwdriver and literally 2 minutes out of your life even if you're slow and careful and ground yourself first. Amazon packaged it well and it arrived safe and fast.
Bottom line - my netbook is becoming my "laptop" and my laptop stays at home at my desk. I take my netbook to class and to coffee shops to study and usually need a couple of programs open and I tend to concentrate better with music. If you just use your netbook for browsing the internet and e-mail, you would probably not notice a difference. If you watch videos and listen to music while you run Office and browse online, you would probably benefit from the added memory. Even a facebook app on its own was a little faster and resembled the speed on a normal laptop on battery mode. If you know you will be using your netbook more and more (and I think it's only natural when you realize how great they are for portability and function) then you might as well get the memory. Hope that helps to make an informed decision.

I've upgraded a ton of computers, so it's a simple task. I originally purchased this for my Dell Zino HD (Inspiron 400) with Windows 7. Worked for several minutes. Then it died in the middle of me using the the Lightroom 3 Beta. Tried to reboot, but the computer would just beep without booting up.

Had to take it out and replace with original memory, which worked. Swapped the memory back and forth a couple of times just to make sure it was a bad stick, which it turned out to be. Had to return it to Amazon.

Got a better deal a few days later at Fry's for 2 sticks of 2GB (4GB total) of Kingston DDR, which has worked perfectly.

I've gotten tons of Crucial memory in the past with no problems. But I guess it was my time to get a bad one.

I used this memory for the Samsung N140 Netbook, which doubled it's DRAM from 1GB to 2GB.

I installed the 2GB in the N140, swapping for the 1GB that was already there. (Not sure what we do with the old 1GB now). It was very easy to do, you just open a compartment with a screwdriver, pull out the old memory and pop in the new memory.

My notes on performance before and after:
* Boot-up. With 1GB, it took 44.6 seconds. With 2GB, only 33.2 seconds. Before the upgrade, the machine was using 61% of the memory just sitting there running no applications, and only 33% after installing the extra memory.
* Shut-down. 1GB: 30.0 seconds. 2GB: 16.4 seconds.
* Open Word document. 1GB: 14.9 seconds. 2GB: 11.7 seconds. Again, memory usage was 61% before upgrade, afterward only 35%.
* Open Control Panel: 1GB: 4.5 seconds. 2GB: 2.5 seconds. This is good because the N140 seemed very "laggy" before

You'll have to see how much improvement you see in speed as you use it, but on the basics, it looks like it is indeed almost twice as fast. Well worth the price, it gave me much snappier performance on my netbook.

Received the DVD cases quickly and ahead of quoted delivery.

For the quality, I must say the cases were above the quality I expected for the price. These cases are sturdy and really nice. The plastic on the outside of the cases was very clear, thick and was properly glued (I have had low cost cases bought elsewhere lack on quality in this area in the past and had the plastic come unglued).

The shipment was double boxed and no cases were broken. Great all around.

Do not imagine that just because Amazon fulfills this product for the seller that the product may be superior. Amazon doesn't inspect the quality of the product, they simply store the box of cases and ship when an order is placed. Granted, Amazon ships them in a sturdy outer box in addition to the seller's inner box, but that is only a minor plus--as simply opening the individual dvd cases makes their binding split.

Luckily, I wasn't expecting a lot as I ordered single dvd cases in the past. However, I was quite surprised to find the plastic covers of these cases to be even thinner (if that is possible) than the single dvd cases I previously ordered. All of these cases (single and double) are made in China, but obviously there are some differences between the factories quality and/or standards. You have cheap quality, "I will break and split if you open me more than once," and you have, "Look only, do not open at all," quality. These are the latter. (plus ten of the bindings had chunks missing from their edges before I even touched them--they were inside the cases.)

Seriously, I'd skip these and buy some you can see and touch from a brick and mortar store.

purpose:
to shade so i don't have to use one hand to shade and the other to hold the camera when i'm not shooting off a stand. for that, this works as it should (definitely reduced some flare)

cons:
1) it is a tight fit but that said, you don't have to "secure it" to start using. Line up the big petal and start shooting :)
2) in trying to align the petal, i found that the portion that secures the hood on my lens can move O_o. not sure if it is supposed to since i can't seem to loosen it all the way but because of that, i was able to align the hood in the secured position properly. but i do have to remove and put it on gingerly so i don't throw off the alignment again.

Very impressed with the product overall. The hood fits snugly and you dont have to worry too much about it coming off. The material has some flex, which is nice specially when it gets bumped or putting the lense down. It would absorb the shock.

Priced right but the shipping cost me so much more than the hood itself.

I bought this hood because of its shape. The Nikon HB7 looks a little "dull" so I decided to give this one a try. The quality and finish of the hood is good but the fit is not. It's a little off centered when it's tightly screwed on the lens. So I have to untighten it a little bit to keep it at dead center. Not a big deal but I am afraid it'll pop off with just a small bump. Other than that, it seems to work fine. I am a new photographer so I can't tell you how effective this hood shades off the glare. However, it does give the lens a even more "pro" look. I was in the dog park one day with my D90 and 80-200mm mounted on a monopod. One of the big dogs growled at me because I was pointing this "thing" at it. :)

As for storage, it can be stored in the hard case that came with the Nikon lens, mounted in reverse. However, it would not fit in the Lowepro Case #3 that I will use to carry it in the field. So I guess I will have to buy the original HB7 so everything can go in the same soft case.

I have a Tamrac Velocity 7 sling pack. I just bought a Canon Speedlite 430 EX II. The Flash does come with a case, but it has no way of attaching to anything.

So, I bought the Tamrac medium flash accessory pocket at the same time as the flash and it is clear that this pocket was made for the flash. If the accessory pocket was deeper , I think it might be hard to remove this flash; it fits perfectly. There is even a frontal pocket that nicely stores four AA batteries.

The pocket attaches to the bag in a vertical position using Velcro and snaps. The Velcro opens on the pocket, slides down through the horizontal side straps on the Velocity series sling packs and then Velcros and snaps securely to itself. There is about an inch or so of vertical play in the flash accessory pocket but I have not found this to be a problem. It could be that this is part of the design - when you set your bag down, the flash pocket shifts up so that it takes only its share of the weight. I would highly recommend the Tamrac medium flash accessory pocket and whole Tamrac Modular Accessory System (M.A.S.). The way this accessory is designed, it would even attach to a belt, if you don't have a Tamrac bag. The dimensions of this pocket are almost identical to the case that Canon provides (including thickness) and therefore should provide the same degree of protection. Great product!

My bag is full so I strap this quality product on the outside of my "everything bag" and I'm ready to go! It holds my strobe plus 4 extra batteries! How coool! It's also typical TAMRAC quality and made in the USA! What more can you ask for!

Tamrac makes 2 different sizes of these "sweethearts" so be careful to buy the small or large for you're own strobe!

This is a very sturdy, well-engineered case for a flash. Fits my SB-800 like a glove. it's bigger than I thought it would be--it doesn't fit into my regular smallish DSLR bag--but I figured out a way to attach to the outside of my bag using the stiff, velcro-ed and snap-fastening strap on the back of the flash case. If you're over-protective of your flash gear, definitely get one.
