replaced the stock components in the front doors of my Mazda5. Unbelievable difference. Tweeters blew within a month, unknown why. I had some old Metallica cranked and the tweeters started crackling and then stopped working on both sides. Purchased a new head unit and installed the Infinity crossovers with new Rockford Fosgate tweets, still using the 6"x8" portion, feeding them 45W RMS without a fault. Very clean bass, tweeters could've been over-watted by OEM deck?

The only thing missing was an additional set of pre-wired jumpers, from the speakers to the crossover.
Other than that, everything was in excellent shape and works amazingly well.

These speakers are great. I put them in the front doors of '05 F-150 Supercab. The bass response, while not booming, is far better than stock, even with the factory head unit. I'm sure when a quality HU is installed, they're gonna be even more impressive. Install was straight forward and easy. Took very little enginuity on my part to make the tweeters work in the factory tweeter holes in the front door panels. Opened the holes just a touch, then mounted using the "Starfish"? system that is included. Couple of crimp on connectors and they sound great. Seller was on-time and delivered a great product.
