I purchased two of these pumps to replace a unit that had failed on my camping trailer. Neither of the two products worked. One pump failed to pump water at all, and the second leaks badly around the handle where it enters the pump body.

I had bought one of the leakers for my church. Imagine my dissapointment. This afternoon I called Valterra customer service and was greeted by a friendly and soothing voice. I was told that there had been some defective pumps but they thought all were now out of circulation. I was offered a new pump free of charge and shipped free also... I would say this is a great company to deal with. Five Stars....

This is an affordable pump and was easy to install. 1-7/8 hole saw and 2 screws. No water leaks in my unit, however the prime lock is not working. The pump loses prime after using. I will contact the manufacturer to check on it.
It puts out quite a bit of water for such a small pump.
