This satin seems to be much better quality than the less expensive versions. I have had issues with the sheet sliding off the bed. I decided to use a cotton sateen fitted bottom sheet and I actually use the flat sheet sideways in the first 2 feet of my head area, since that's my main concern (I don't sleep with a pillow - my bed is beyond ultra plush). I like the smoothness and the fact that it is polyester. I drool sometimes and I prefer the polyester in that area, but that wasn't my original reason when I bought this satin. I think satin is better for my hair and I just like the feel. I put the satin fitted sheet underneath my cotton fitted sheet for extra mattress protection. Navy is perfect for my bed - hides stains and seems inviting.

This is our second set. With Satin Sheets they can form "balls" these however DO NOT our first set which we used everyday lasted 7 years, hope these do too. Don't waste your money on cheap ones
